Loomis—Pay, funded by the Loomis Group, offers a complete end-to-end payment system that helps merchants, restaurants and shops run and grow their businesses all over the world. The all-in-one payment system is the first comprehensive service that allows merchants to handle cash, cards and mobile payments through one single provider.
Anders Nord Studio was tasked with creating a new digital identity for Loomis—Pay that would clarify their global offering.
The founder of Loomis, Lee Loomis, began his career in 1897 in the transportation industry, seeking his fortune during the gold rush in Alaska. We used gold as an inspiration and applied the golden ratio to create the new Loomis—Pay grid layout and typography system.
We also challenged their brand communication, how their products are purchased and the hierarchy of their typography. We added a new colour to their brand, developed new product names and created a new design expression. Our aim was to produce a simple, inspiring and dynamic digital brand experience that would convey Loomis—Pay’s mission: to facilitate and support reliable monetary transactions everywhere.
